"How do I know my flyers are being delivered?" is the most common question we hear at the flier pros. That's why we offer free gps tracking on all deliveries. We utlizie the Google My Tracks android app for smart phones to not only show you where and when your flyers were delivered, but to also show you speed, elevation, moving time, and total time spent delivering your flyers. It's important for you to know that in today's technologically advanced world, anyone can click dots on a map and send you a GPS track that is complete Baloney. With the Google My Tracks app connected to a smart phone, you can simply press play and watch your delivery happen in REAL TIME. in fact, I encourage you view my personal PUBLIc folder of GPS tracks in my Google Drive at https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B2bA7wBOJaGJXzVNb19hek1Gamc&usp=sharing and then I challenge you to find another company in the Phoenix Market that will openly show, share, and invite you to view the work they do on a daily basis. We've been using My Tracks for the last four months and I have yet to find an easier way to ensure you delivery of every single flyer you paid for.
It's not easy being effective!
I was recently out performing a delivery... Yes, the owner actually delivers flyers here... and I began seeing these landscaping flyers made of small paper squares that were stapled to baggies of gravel and tossed onto the end of driveways all over this peoria neighborhood.
I am big on flyer placement and effective delivery tactics, so I really had to wonder about the common sense level of anyone that would waste their time with such a foolish endeavor. Flyer delivery is simple. You take a flyer and put in on a door... repeat...repeat.. I am always amazed by the people who try to find an easier, softer way. Six years of doing this has shown me that there is really only one effective way to do this job and it isn't littering neighborhoods with gravel baggies at 3AM because I am too lazy to get out of my car and walk to the front door.
Years of working on farms in the midwest has taught me to have a strong work ethic and to do what is going to be in the best interest of my clients. I want you to do well and I want you to call me again next week. FOr that reason, I ....WE....walk to every door and place your flyer effectively so that you can see some results. You expect it and I demand it from every delivery professional on our staff.
Flyer Delivery in Phoenix, Arizona is what we do. As the heat of summer begins to bake the valley of the sun, our phone begins to ring. If you've ever attempted flyer delivery on your own in July, than you already know that Phoenix often feels as if it is about a half mile from the sun. There are a few things you should know about how our flyer delivery service operates during the summer months:
So you have your flyers printed and you're ready to tap into a potential sales spike for your business. If a picture is worth a thousand words, than I can offer at least a few hundred for the image shown here.
#1 offers a view of the typical flyer placement by the team at Maximum Volume Marketing. It's somewhat wedged into the metal of the door, offering the potential customer a complete view of the service being offered and hopefully catching their eye. I can't promise it won't be wadded up and thrown away, but we've offered it up in most straight forward, pleasing way possible.
#2 offers a view of two possibilities : A) a very inexperienced flyer delivery person who has defeated the purpose of flyer delivery OR B) a hard working business professional who thought it would be a good idea to save the delivery costs and do-it-themselves. Whichever the case, one thing is for certain : someone wasted their time, effort, and resources printing and delivering a flyer that is guaranteed to be wadded up and thrown away without ever making it's point.
This is one part of my three piece series on possibly the most important aspect of flyer delivery, FLYER PLACEMENT !! I want to say a few words today about the flyer delivery and placement process when doing cars and parking lots. Again, the number one factor here is simply COMMON SENSE. CAR A - If you hand a stack of flyers to any guy working his first day, this is often how you may find the flyers getting delivered. Anytime in my life that I have sat in my car and THEN saw the flyer under my windshield wiper, i can only recall doing the same thing : I start my car, drive, and when I am going fast enough I turn on my wipers. Not many people will see your advertisement if they do what I do.
CAR B - This flyer was placed according to our standard operating procedure. Notice how the flyer is actually in a person's hand? At the Flier Pros, that's our ultimate goal: to get the flyer in a person's hand. If the window seal is too tight it is placed in the driver's side handle. Your flyer has the greatest chance of ending up in someone's hand when placed in this manner. After all, success in flyer delivery is found in getting your flyers in peoples HANDS. Whenever I am personally delivering flyers, I consider this my final goal and utilize some common sense to make it happen. I've offered a way for you to avoid common pitfalls made by beginners in this article. Remember the goal is to get your flyer read and hopefully used by the consumer. Whether it is homes, cars, or businesses a flyer not noticed is effort wasted, so take the time to do it right the first time. I hope you will benefit from my experience and have a successful flyer delivery campaign for your business !
